乐队访谈<一>文/Steven Becraft
1.Steven Becraft:我觉得你们的音乐有一种“民族意识”，比如，我听说你们只听古老的中国音乐。这是真的吗？如果你们给自己的音乐定位，你们觉得是民谣还是独立摇滚音乐呢？
邓裴：我会在心静的时候听“古琴”，听它的“自由”，听古人在弹奏它时是如何的“心态” 。我能听出现代音乐人缺少的那一部分。很高兴你能听出我们的“民族意识”，我们希望它是自然流露的，这也正是我们音乐的源泉。我希望我们的音乐是独立或者更加独立的，至于是民谣还是摇滚并不重要。
2.Steven Becraft:你平时听的最多的音乐是哪一类型的？
邓裴：最古老的“戏曲”和最前卫的“电子乐”都有我们目前青睐的。
3.Steven Becraft:对于自己的作品，你个人最喜欢的是哪首？
邓裴：下一首。
4.Steven Becraf:t爱乐人民都应该干点什么？
邓裴：多听，多看，多幻想。不要错过任何一个你现在不喜欢但有可能将来会喜欢的音乐家。
5.Steven Becraft:你们能不能评价中国（或者北京）摇滚音乐？风格有什么特色？
邓裴：北京是中国伸向世界的文化窗口，所以我更希望北京的文化是独立的，音乐是独立的。并不是一定要在脸上画上“脸谱”（京剧的装扮之一）或者穿上“旗袍”（清朝的装束）拿起吉他来吸引世界的眼球。我不希望中国的摇滚乐只局限于“娱乐”。
6.Steven Becraft:由于你们的音乐有实验性，好像中国最前卫的音乐。极有可能的是中国摇滚音乐的整体环境还不是很理想的，对不对？
邓裴：对，不过没关系。我们的音乐属于任何一个音乐整体环境理想的地方,更属于未来的中国。
7.Steven Becraft:据我所知，南京显得有比较多“后朋克”，譬如，PK14乐队、重塑雕像的权利、舌头乐队等等。对中国各个地方的音乐家现状怎么看？还有，在你们看来，北京新音乐(New Music)的现状怎么样？
邓裴：中国音乐家的状况并不理想，他们的生活，环境，以及一些不得不考虑的事情总能影响他们的创作。在中国的音乐家更多需要一种坚持，并且能将这种坚持理性化。我不知道坚持到什么时候才可以改变现状，但我知道有越来越多具有独立思想的音乐家涌现出来。
8.Steven Becraft:中国独立音乐向来出片的速度都非常慢，那样的乐队不知道哪年才有机会出唱片。在你们看来，将来中国独立音乐的情况有没有希望？
邓裴：现在中国的音乐家可以看见世界，但世界还不能看见中国的音乐家。社会体制的健全和中国开放的程度最终决定这些。
9.Steven Becraft:你们对西方音乐有什么看法？
邓裴：我们在选择做摇滚音乐时主要影响来自西方。但我真的不希望它永远影响下去。
10.Steven Becraft:创作音乐的“美丽”是什么？你们现场演出的时候和录音时候感觉有什么区别？
邓裴：创作音乐的“美丽”是“勇气”，我会在音乐上缺乏勇气而懊悔。 才气加勇气才是一个完整的艺术家！我们的现场更感性一些，录音更理性一些。
11.Steven Becraft:你们认为乐队应该具备哪些基本的素质？试验性很重要吗？
邓裴：乐手音乐素养决定他对音乐的鉴赏力，勤奋决定他的人格魅力。试验性的出现标志着你在音乐上是否可以独立，或是否还想独立。
12.Steven Becraft:对中国的国内音乐现状，你们有什么看法？你们对中国流行音乐的现状怎么看？
邓裴：中国的现存体制，社会发展阶段，人的思想观念，使得目前中国原创音乐还不能成市场化的主体，尤其是乐队，更是履步维艰！同时也造成了中国流行音乐的虚假繁荣。
13.Steven Becraft:中国传统音乐的魅力是什么？“古今并存”有没有一样的吸引力？
邓裴：中国传统音乐更注重内在的表达，以声传情，以音达思，弦音绕梁，荡气回肠。在那个时代是有着其艺术性和创造性的高度的。而中国的现代音乐更多的停留在模仿外来音乐的阶段，缺乏原创性，和真实性。没有完全根植于自己的土壤。
14.Steven Becraft:如果你们要給中国文化、艺术、还有音乐的特点一个概括，你们会怎么说？
邓裴：我理解中的和我理想中的：“安静并不沉睡”“发展但不张扬”
15.Steven Becraft:给美国的歌迷介绍一下乐队今后一段时期内的安排吧。
邓裴：我们发行的EP是在为LP做宣传准备，目前我们正在为LP做最后的混音工作。接下来可能会一边排练 演出 一边整理一下我们准备的新作品。还有就是在解决怎样把我们的想法拿到现场。
16.Steven Becraft:你们各自的最终理想是什么？
邓裴：老死在舞台上。

一.baruh:你是怎么认识的马修？
1.how did you get to know Matthew ?
邓裴:通过一个在北京很喜欢我的音乐的美国朋友认识。马修很喜欢我的音乐，我也很欣赏他在音乐工作中的热情。
I konw Matthew by a friend come from American.She likes my music very much.Matthew also like my music,and I appreciate the entheusiasim of Matthew's music work.
二.baruh:你花了多长时间做现在的这张CD
2.how long did it take you to make the new cd ?
邓裴:我从2004年7月开始准备录音，到ep做好时我们已经完成12首准备放在专辑的歌。
I prepared for recording this cd from July on 2004.Now I finish not only the songs in the EP,but also all the 12 songs for my new record(the second record of my band).
三.baruh:你怎么描述你自己的音乐？
3. how can you define your music ?
邓裴:"动如脱兔 静如处子"
I define my music use a traditional idiom from china "Someone when he move like a rabbit ,when he calm down like a virgin ."
四.baruh:你们乐队有多长时间了？
4.how long does the band exists ?
邓裴:寂寞.夏.日的雏形是96年5月23日，到97年10月8日乐队成型。
The primary stage of Lonelychinaday is from the 23th May ,1996.
But the band formed on 8th October ,1997.
五.baruh:你除了作音乐还有其他的工作么？（如果有，是什么？）
5. do you have another job beside playing in the band (if you do have please write what job) ?
邓裴:没有。

六.baruh:你认为你在马修办的PARTY上演出的如何？
6. what is your opinion about Matthew's party which you preformed in ?
邓裴:很好， 但不完美。
I think it is good ,but not perfect.
七.baruh:作乐队及录音很难么？（列举一些）
7. is it difficult to have a band and record music (please specify the difficulties....)?
邓裴:乐队成员的人格，音乐的感觉，和对生活的态度以及热情对我来说都很重要，所以需要长时间磨合。在录音方面我用了一段时间熟悉录音软件，在录音时会出现一些意想不到的错误。比如我会在每一轨单独加同样的混响效果，但后来会知道这样反到会影响声音的独立性。也会加重电脑负荷。
The very important things for me also for the band are that the personality of the band's members,their feelings of music,their attitude to life and the entheusiasm of music.So I need much time to konw about these and we use much time to konw each other.
On the recording ,I do a period to use the recording software proficiently.In the period of recording there are some mistakes that you haven't met before .For example I add a reverb effect on every track .But at last I know that will affect the independent character of the music and also make my computer work difficultly.
八.baruh:你觉得和你同一厂牌下的submitionarries乐队的音乐如何？
8. what do you think about the submitionarries music ?
邓裴:我觉得他们的现场还是很兴奋的，但是我更喜欢能够触动我内心的音乐。
I think their live is exciting .But I like the music that can touch my heart better.
九.baruh:你给submitionarries 乐队的专辑的最后混音进行的怎么样了？
9. how was working on the submitionarries final mix for the album ?
邓裴:到目前为止我只给他们的ep做了最后的混音。他们的ep有一些脏的声音，我在和他们联系确定是音乐以外的声音后进行了消除，并将其中一首做了渐弱处理。在原ep基础上提高了响度和高频，最后进行了左右声道的扩展使声音听起来更加宽广。
By now I only do the master for the ep of the Submitionarries.
Before I mix the ep of Submitionarries ,there are some dirty sounds in it. I call them that I am sure that these sounds are not the music and I delete them.And I fade out one song in the end of this song.I raise the volum and the High frequency,at last I expand the left channel and right channel that make the music listening widely.
十 baruh:你还想去哪些国家演出？
10.In which other countries do you want to preform ?
邓裴:世界上任何一个喜欢我们的音乐的地方！
I want to perform in anywhere that like my music!
